Preparing For Your Spray Tan Treatment
The St Tropez spray tan treatment takes approximately 15 minutes. Please do not apply any type of deodorant, perfume, or aromatherapy oils on the day of your treatment as these may reduce the results. Please make sure you perform you regular waxing or shaving at least 24 hours prior to the treatment to avoid any skin sensitivity. To ensure a uniform and even looking result, make sure you exfoliate your entire body the evening before or morning of your treatment. Pay special attention to dry areas, such as hands, feet, elbows and knees. Wear dark, loose fitting clothing, with a dark coloured bra or preferably no bra at all. Please be aware, before it is washed off, the spray tan may stain light hair, man made fibres and wool.
Spray Tan After Care Advice
Your spray tan will start to develop immediately after your treatment. Unless you have had the express tan, please do not bathe or shower for a minimum of 4 hours. The ideal development time is 4-8 hours and 1-3 hours for the express tan 1 hour providing you with a lighter result and 3 giving you the darkest tan. Please avoid excess perspiration for at least 12 hours and choose clothing that is non-restrictive. Make sure you moisturise your body daily to ensure your tan lasts longer and exfoliate your body every 2-3 days to encourage your tan to fade evenly. Do not rub but pat your skin dry after showering or bathing and avoid chlorine water as this can prematurely fade the tan.
